Rector of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University becomes doctor honoris causa of the University of Lutsk

Rector of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw, priest Prof. Stanisław Dziekoński received the title of doctor honoris causa of the Łesia Ukrainka Eastern European National University in Lutsk.

– The act of granting me an honorary doctorate of this University is a special sign of building a bridge between our Universities and, consequently, bringing the Ukrainian and Polish people together by developing fraternal cooperation in the wider educational field.

The history of the university in Łuck dates back to 1940, when the State Pedagogical School was established. Currently, the Eastern European National University has 7 institutes, 9 faculties and 76 departments with 14,000 students.
