Prof. Arkadiusz Mężyk, rector of the Silesian University of Technology becomes one of the winners of the “Promoter of Poland” competition. The title emphasizes the unique contribution of the winners to shaping a positive image of Poland. The prize was presented during the XII European Economic Congress EEC in Katowice.
– The title “Promoter of Poland”, with which I am honored today, is a huge success, above all, of the academic community of the Silesian University of Technology – a university that has been developing very intensively recently. We have ambitious plans: international recognition, excellent education and research. We are heading there – said Prof. Mężyk.
The originator and initiator of the “Promoter of Poland” title, the Foundation of the Polish Promotional Emblem, is also the organizer of the “Teraz Polska” competition, where the emblem under the same name is awarded, defining the quality and value of products, services, municipalities and undertakings in Poland.
