The Łukasiewicz Research Network is to ensure a more effective cooperation of research institutions- emphasized Jadwiga Emilewicz, the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology- Science is to be an important factor of the development of the Polish economy.

– The Polish Research Network Łukasiewicz is the third in Europe in terms of potential, after German and French networks.

With regard to European networks, the best model is not competing but cooperation. The French, Germans, Finns are really great at using European funds. And if someone wonders why we need such a research network, the third largest in Europe, it is worth remembering that in the next EU perspective, the European Commission will spend EUR 100 billion on research and development – reminded Piotr Dardziński, president of the Łukasiewicz Research Network.
