The Research Station and the Didactic and Training Centre for Equestrianism and Hippotherapy was officially opened at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin. The event was attended by the Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek.

The new facility has been functionally divided into several parts. It includes an indoor riding arena with an area of more than 2,000 square metres, with a professional riding surface, enabling the organisation of indoor equestrian competitions of national and international level.

There is also a separate teaching area in the building, with a multimedia lecture room, allowing a view of the indoor riding arena. In addition to teaching, national and international indoor equestrian competitions in the disciplines of dressage and horse jumping will be held here.

The infrastructure of the Centre and the Centre also provides for the possibility of organising animal therapy classes to support the treatment and rehabilitation of children and adults with disabilities, using various animal species such as horses, dogs, alpacas and donkeys.
