Dr Sławomir Wójcik, assistant professor at the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology and head of the Recruitment Department at the Medical University of Gdańsk became the laureate of the competition “Internationalization Stars 2019” organized by the Educational Foundation “Perspektywy”. He won in the Star of Education category – Teaching Star.

The laureate has been involved in the internationalization of universities and science in Poland for over 15 years. The area of his activities includes national and international communication, recruitment for Polish and English studies, teaching at the level preparing for higher education (anatomy and neurobiology) and preparation for recognition exams.

The aim of the competition is to award and promote people with outstanding achievements in the internationalization of Polish universities. Applications for awards can be submitted by universities, student organizations, university employees and students.
