Dr MSc Ewa Czochrowska from the Department of Orthodontics of the Warsaw Medical University (WAM) received the Distinguished Teacher Award. The prize is awarded annually a distinguished European lecturer in the field of orthodontics by the European Orthodontic Society.

Dr Ewa Czochrowska is the first Polish orthodontist who was honored with this award.

The European Orthodontic Society is the oldest and largest orthodontic company in Europe. It was founded in 1907. The seat of the company is London. The Society publishes the European Journal of Orthodontics and organizes annual orthodontic congresses in various European countries.
