Researcher from the University of Zielona Góra receives the President of the Polish Space Agency 2023 Award

Dr Agnieszka Jardin from the University of Zielona Góra has won the second-degree award of the President of the Polish Space Agency 2023. The jury of the competition for the best thesis on a broadly defined space topic appreciated her dissertation ‘Study of the chaotic behaviour of plasma produced by the Hall engine’.

The competition covers issues in space research and use, the development of space technology, including satellite engineering, the functioning of the space industry, the use of research and its results for applied, economic, defence, security and scientific purposes. 

Bachelor’s theses, engineering theses, master’s theses (individual or team) and doctoral dissertations, defended in September last year or later, were evaluated. This year’s prize pool was PLN 35,000 and the winners will also have the opportunity to present their work at an industry event.
