Researcher from the Warsaw University of Technology receives International award for contributions to the field of radiolocation

Dr Eng. Mateusz Malanowski, Prof. of Warsaw University of Technology (PW), was awarded the IEEE AESS Fred Nathanson Memorial Radar Award. It is an award for outstanding contribution to the field of radiolocation, granted to persons under 40 years of age.

Dr Eng. Mateusz Malanowski, a scientist from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology of the Warsaw University of Technology specializes in radiolocation and signal processing.

He was recognized for his contributions to pioneering research in long-range passive radar sensing, in particular the analysis and synthesis of novel detection and tracking methods.

Traditionally, the award is granted at one of the most important radiolocation conferences in the world – IEEE International Radar Conference. Due to the pandemic, the ceremony was moved to next year.
