Researcher from the West Pomeranian University of Technology awarded by the American Concrete Institute

Prof. Maria Kaszyńska, from the Department of Reinforced Concrete Structures and Concrete Technology at the West Pomeranian University of Technology, has won the Fellow of American Concrete Institute award. This prestigious award was given in recognition of her individual contributions to the Institute and the entire concrete manufacturing and modification industry. 

In operation since 1904, the American Concrete Institute is a global organisation dedicated to the development, dissemination and implementation of global standards, technical resources, and education, training and certification programmes. The Fellow of American Concrete Institute award is given to only a dozen people each year. Professor Maria Kaszyńska is the only scientist from Poland to be included in this elite group.

The award will be officially presented at the Opening Session of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Spring Convention on 24 March 2024 in New Orleans.
