Dr Eng. Agata Giełczyk from the Faculty of Telecommunications, IT and Electrical Engineering of the Bydgoszcz University of Technology was included in the prestigious TOP-100 Women in AI ranking prepared by the Perspektywy Educational Foundation.

Agata Giełczyk is the author of many peer-reviewed and highly scored scientific publications in the field of image processing, in particular for biometric systems and image manipulation detection. On a daily basis, she deals with the issues of artificial intelligence, she is a member of teams in European projects in the Horizon 2020 perspective: InfraStress and SocialTruth. He conducts classes with Data Sciene students in the field of Applied Computer Science.

The Perspektywy Educational Foundation has decided to appreciate and promote women whose professional work is related to the subject of artificial intelligence, hence they developed the idea for the TOP-100 Women in AI – a list of outstanding Polish women and foreigners working in Poland in the field of artificial intelligence.
