Dr Jakub Lipski of the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz was nominated for the scientific award of the journal Polityka. This is a chance for a scientist from the Faculty of Literature to achieve another prestigious award.

Since 2001, the Polityka Foundation has been running a scholarship program for young scientists called “Stay with us!”, which changed the name for the “Polityka” Scientific Awards since 2011. Through the campaign conducted on the pages of the weekly journal, the organizers promote a valuable career models against popular culture trends, emphasizing the intellect, diligence and originality.

This year, 15 scientists in five fields of science have been nominated for the Awards. This is an opportunity for Dr Jakub Lipski to obtain a new award after receiving a scholarship from the Minister of Science and Higher Education this academic year.
