Dr Wioletta Mędrzycka-Dąbrowska, head of the Department of Anesthetic Nursing and Intensive Care at the Medical University of Gdańsk, was appointed to represent Poland in the European Specialist Nurses Organizations (ESNO) Focus Group in the Biosimilars Nurses Guide version 2.0 project. 

Specialists from all over Europe are involved in cooperation on this international project. Dr Sabina Krupa from the College of Medical Sciences of the University of Rzeszów was also invited to participate in the initiative from Poland.

The main task of the focus group is to update the information guide of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) on biosimilar medicines for healthcare professionals, taking into account national experience and providing examples from individual therapeutic groups (including rheumatology, dermatology, oncology). The publication of the update is planned for the end of 2022.
