Students from the Scientific Society of Anthropologists “Juvenis” operating at the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław conducted research on the knowledge of a healthy lifestyle and its impact on the body structure of students of Wrocław universities.

The aim of the research was to assess the knowledge of the principles of a healthy lifestyle and the level of their application in practice, as well as to assess the body structure of students in the context of morphological determinants of a biological condition. 185 people aged 18-27 took part in the survey. Out of 185 respondents: 97 respondents were women and 88 – men. They represented the Life Sciences; Wroclaw; Medical; Economics and Wrocław University of Technology Universities.

The members of the club compared the relationship between the knowledge and attitudes related to the body structure between universities. The results clearly show that poor knowledge about a healthy lifestyle has a negative impact on eating habits and lack of physical activity, and as a result, scientists can observe a bad body composition.
