Researcher of the Medical University of Wroclaw joins the Prof. Franciszek Walczak program

Dr Stanisław Tubek of the Medical University of Wrocław became a participant in the Prof. Franciszek Walczak program, run by the National Agency for Academic Exchange. The scientist will start cooperation with Ohio State University.

Prof. Walczak’s Program is an initiative of the National Agency for Academic Exchange and the Ministry of Health addressed to scientists in the field of cardiology, oncology, allergology or infectious diseases. The program provides trips lasting from 3 to 6 months to the best medical centers located in the United States of America. As part of three competitions, the Agency is planning to provide scholarships for at least 100 Polish doctors and scientists.
17 winners were selected in the first competition, most of them are scholars of Medical University of Lodz and the Medical University of Warsaw. The Medical University of Wrocław has one representative in this group – Dr Stanisław Tubek from the Department of Heart Diseases at the Faculty of Health Sciences.
