Professor Witold Abramowicz, a scientist at the University of Economics in Poznan, was appointed to the Council of the Foundation Platform for the Future of Industry set up by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology.
The Council is to help Polish entrepreneurs adapt to the requirements of the industrial era 4.0. It aims to support their digital transformation in terms of processes, products and business models, using the latest developments in the field of automation, artificial intelligence, ICT and human-machine communication.
Witold Abramowicz is a professor of economics, a habilitated doctor of mathematical sciences and an automation engineer. He worked for over a dozen years at Swiss and German universities. He has experience of working not only at universities, but also in consulting companies and industry. He is the head of the Department of Economic Informatics at the University of Economics in Poznan.
