Dr Sylwia Zielińska-Raczyńska, scientist of the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz has won the Polish Smart Development Award in the Scientist of the Future category.

The award was granted for the implementation of her projects: “Coherent interaction of Rydberg excitons with electromagnetic radiation” – Project NCN Opus 2018-2020 B / ST / 00817; “Optical information processing and storage in dynamically constructed time-dependent photonic materials. Toward all-optical information processing and storage in time-dependent photonic band-gap materials. Project PRIN 2019-021037 MUIR, Italy and “Propagation of electromagnetic signals in atomic, semiconductor and plasmonic media including low-dimensional structures “.

The Polish Smart Development Award is granted to people and institutions that directly and indirectly influence the smart and sustainable development of society and economy.
