Dr Monika Czerwonka, Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) received the Beta Award for outstanding achievements in the financial management. The researcher was awarded for the work “Behavioral, ethical and cultural determinants of making investment decisions”.
The award was presented her on November 19, 2020 during the 21st International Conference on Financial Management.
Dr Monika Czerwonka is an assistant professor of the Department of Capital Markets and Theory of Finance of the Institute of Finance of the Warsaw School of Economics. He specializes in behavioral finance, capital markets and socially responsible investing.
Dr Czerwonka said, that the aim of the book awarded by the jury was to show that there are many non-economic factors that have a very strong influence on investors’ decisions including factors of a psychological, cultural, ethical or biological basis.
