Professor Mirosława El Fray from the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin received a prestigious scholarship from the American Fulbright program. Thanks to it, she will be able to conduct research in the United States for four weeks.

The laureate is a specialist in the field of polymer biomaterial engineering. Thanks to the scholarship, she will implement the project “Enzymatic Catalysis of Green Polymers”. At The Ohio State University she will work under the guidance of an outstanding specialist in polymer engineering and chemistry Prof. Judit E. Puskas. They will provide experimental works on new polymer materials, for the synthesis of which enzymes will be used as natural catalysts.

The Fulbright STEM Impact Award is a scholarship program for active researchers representing the fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). Its purpose is to support cooperation for the development of science, culture and interpersonal and inter-institutional relations.
