Dr Eng. Anna Lesiak from the Faculty of Chemistry, the Wrocław University of Science and Technology has won a French scholarship program. She will conduct advanced research on complex emitters at the University of Lyon in the team of Prof. Stéphane Parola.
The laureate works at the Department of Advanced Materials Engineering and Modeling. She is planning to spend the summer semester on a research internship in France, at the Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon, in collaboration with the Laboratoire de Chimie implementing a project on nanoscale emitters. The research results may be used in the future in photovoltaics and sensor technology.
The project will be implemented as part of the SSHN scholarship funded by the French government. It is a program aimed at Polish and foreign researchers working in a Polish research institution who would like to conduct research in France. 91 scientists took part in this year’s program with 38 people received funding.
