Prof. Munish Kumar Gupta from India and Prof. Zhixiong Li from China have decided to stay with the Opole University of Technology (PO) for a longer period after two years of research work at the PO. Although they could have chosen any research centre in the world, they unanimously emphasise that the Opole University of Technology is the best place for their professional development.

“For us, this is above all information that our scientific environment is so attractive that people with such high scientific achievements want to come to us, especially that we are competing with universities from all over the world”, says Prof. Grzegorz Królczyk, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Science and Development of the Opole University of Technology.

Prof. Munish Kumar Gupta is involved in tribology and sustainable manufacturing, having previously conducted research and taught at, among others, the prestigious Shandong University in Jinan, China, and Prof Zhixiong Li is involved in a novel data-driven, intelligent prediction-based platform for complex cyber-physical systems.
