Silesian University of Technology hosted a delegation of scientists from the Lviv University of Technology. Representatives of the Ukrainian university spent two days in Gliwice, during which they became acquainted with the achievements of the faculties and the research programs implemented on there.

The guests visited the faculties of Mechanical Technology, Automation, Electronics and Information Technology, Construction, and Environmental Engineering and Energy. They talked about the research and didactic processes carried out at particular faculties.

The implementing dual studies in Ukraine on the basis of EU experience and the concept of building control systems and visualization of water supply networks in cities based on the Matlab program were also discussed.

The University of Gliwice has expressed interest in exchanging experiences in the form of temporary employment of scholars from Lviv – involving them in the process of scientific research and the didactic process.
