The aim of the project “BACK IN TOWN – The role of industrial relations and social dialogue in supporting young people’s employment and social inclusion at an urban level” is to develop urban public policies sensitive to the problems of young people, and the research will focus on aspects such as urban development, the role of industrial relations and social dialogue in supporting young people’s employment and social inclusion in changing urban areas, the role of local government in creating urban public policies aimed at young people, and the problem of youth migration.

Prof. Marzanna Poniatowicz, Dr Dorota Perło and Dr Agnieszka Piekutowska will summarise the results of analyses concerning the diagnosis of the situation of young people in urban labour markets in various European countries.
