Researchers of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia will carry out the project “Qualified Majorities in Non-Majority Mechanisms: Towards a New Majority Theory in Judicial Control of the Constitutional Law”.

The decision on co-financing, under the POLS competition financed by Norwegian funds for 2014–2021, was made by the National Science Center. The project manager, employed at the Silesian university will be Dr Mauro Arturo Rivera Leon. Over 520,000 PLN is allocated to this research.

POLS is a competition for research projects carried out by foreign scientists in Polish research organizations or enterprises. The project manager may be a scientist with at least a doctoral title who did not live, work or study in Poland and did not manage a research project in Poland two years before the closing of the competition.
