Researchers of the Medical University of Wroclaw will implement the project ‘HeartBIT_4.0 – Application of innovative Medical Data Science technologies for heart diseases”. The project will be implemented within the framework of the European Union’s research and innovation framework program – Horizon 2020.
The project received funding as part of a Twinning competition. The idea of Twinning projects is to connect research institutions from different EU countries to enable the transfer of knowledge and experience in specific fields of science.
As part of the project, experts will conduct an extensive series of professional training in contemporary methods of conducting experiments and analyzing medical data. Only scientists who can plan, conduct and interpret research, based on artificial intelligence techniques and methods of analyzing large data sets have a chance to keep up with the latest global scientific trends.
