Researchers of the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań – Dr Marta Wrześniewska-Pietrzak together with Dr Karolina Ruta-Korytowska and Dr Anna Wiśniewska-Jankowska, as an informal group, are developing the diagnostic tool Lexic Test PJM-PL.

The diagnostic tool of the Poznań researchers is addressed to diagnosticians and people working with deaf students. The use of their proprietary application will be the first test of this type to determine the preferred language of a deaf student. The deadline for the implementation of the project is scheduled for the end of September 2021.

The project received funding from the Accessibility Generator program, which aims to support solutions that facilitate the daily functioning of people with disabilities, the elderly and with limitations in mobility and perception. Individuals, institutions, informal groups and non-governmental organizations can apply for innovation grants.
