18.11.2019

Four scientists from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology will implement their projects thanks to grants from the National Science Center. Researchers have gained almost 125,000 in total for their activities from the Miniatura program.

Dr Eng. Grzegorz Dudzik from the electronics department will implement the project “Investigating the photothermal effect to control the frequency of solid-state microlasers with second harmonic generation”, and Dr Eng. Robert Giel from the mechanical faculty will implement the project “Multi-criteria route planning method for waste collection enterprises”.

Also, thanks to the funding, two scientists from the Wroclaw university will carry out research trips: Dr Eng. Krzysztof Konieczny from the faculty of computer science and management for “Photochemistry in extreme conditions: intramolecular photochemical reactions in crystalline materials studied at high pressure”, and Dr Eng. Małgorzata Sulkowska from the faculty of basic technical problems for “Stoping algorithms – a new approach”.
