Warsaw headquarters of the Management Board of the Accountants Association in Poland hosted the 54th Competition for the best works and studies in accounting.

The first-degree award named after Professor Zbigniew Messner for the doctoral thesis “The role of derivatives in stabilising the financial results of listed companies” was awarded to Dr Bogusław Wacławik from the Cracow University of Economics.

In the master’s thesis category, the first prize was awarded to Adrianna Wnuk of the University of Łódź for her thesis ‘Financial revision and falsification of financial reporting information’.

In the Bachelor’s thesis category, the best thesis was “Assessing the quality of environmental information reporting on the example of chemical industry companies in Poland” by Gabriela Wojan of the University of Szczecin.
