The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has announced that 35 students and doctoral candidates in Polish studies and Polish studies from all over the world will receive a scholarship from the NAWA Polish Teacher programme. It enables them to complete a one-semester, two-semester or full master’s degree.
Among the centres most frequently selected by students were Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, University of Silesia in Katowice, Jagiellonian University in Kraków and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
In this year’s intake, scholarships will be awarded to students and doctoral students from Belarus, China, Croatia, Serbia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Italy and Turkey.
The Polish Teacher scholarship holders also include 13 scholars from Austria, Belarus, the Netherlands, Ukraine and Italy, who will carry out projects in such fields as linguistics, glottodidactics, Polish literature, art and history.
