Startup Nanoseen from the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park Gdynia has developed revolutionary nanomembranes that turn salt water into drinking water in just 2 minutes and purify it from micro and nanoplastics, bacteria, viruses, light and heavy metal ions.
Nanotechnology has been adapted to each climate zone, it can be used anywhere on the globe. It can be used on the beach, in the mountains, in rural and urban areas – wherever there is a problem with access to drinking water. The developed technology can also be used in areas where there is a problem with access to electricity.
“The total life of our nanomembranes depends on the level of water pollution and salinity, the indicative time is up to 200 days with a 10-fold regeneration. Our goal in the project is to achieve the work of nanomembranes up to about 3000 days, taking into account a 30-fold regeneration”, says CEO of Nanoseen Bartosz Kruszka.
