The Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek appointed Dr Robert Tomasz Ptaszek as director of the Educational Research Institute.
Robert Ptaszek is an associated professor of humanities in philosophy. He is an employee of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Catholic University of Lublin and a member of scientific societies and organizations, including the Polish Philosophical Society.
Since 2016, he has been a member of the Bioethics Committee at the University of Economics and Innovation in Lublin and the Polish Society for Technology Assessment. Also, Dr Ptaszek has recently been appointed to the Center for Science and Technology Assessment at the Catholic University of Lublin.
He manages the currently implemented Interdisciplinary Research Project “Philosophical interpretation of the situation of a religious person in the COVID-19 pandemic: the Polish perspective”.
The Educational Research Institute is a research institution that conducts interdisciplinary research on the functioning and effectiveness of the education system in Poland.
