Rzeszów University of Technology received almost PLN 12 million for the implementation of the project “Regional Center of Excellence in Automation and Robotics, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications of Rzeszów University of Technology”. The project will be implemented from the “Regional Initiative of Excellence” program, which was announced by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The aim of the project is to strengthen the research potential of the Rzeszów University of Technology and increase the level of scientific research.
The project will be implemented in 2019-2023. Its detailed tasks include technology development and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoE), machine learning (ML) and analysis of large sets of quickly collected data ( Big Data) for the needs of the aviation industry.
