By October 15, 2018, PhD students can apply for a scholarship from the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding scientific or artistic achievements related to PhD studies or outstanding achievements in sports.

The Minister of Science and Higher Education awards 84 scholarships with the maximum limit of PLN 25,000. Minister’s scholarships are awarded to PhD students at the request of the rector of the university.

Applications will be evaluated using the point method. Points are awarded for individual scientific achievements, artistic achievements or achievements in sport. In order to assess applications, the minister may appoint experts.
