From the new academic year 2022/23, the offer of the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn will include Dietetics as MA studies at the UWM School of Public Health.

The Dietetics major at UWM has existed since 2010. It has had 367 graduates. Until now, however, those graduates who wanted to continue their master’s studies after their bachelor’s degree had to leave Olsztyn.

“We are opening it for the convenience of students. We were encouraged to start MA in Dietetics by the students themselves, who told us many times that they would like to continue their studies in Olsztyn. So, we made a diagnosis and our analysis showed that approximately 94% of people are interested in MA studies, and as many as 80% of respondents declared that they would continue their studies at the UWM School of Public Health (SZP) in Olsztyn in the event of their establishment”, explains Dr Ewa Kupcewicz, a deputy director of the SZP.
