Providing reliable information about the coronavirus and refuting the fake news is the goal of the “Listen to the scientist” campaign implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education – says spokeswoman of the Ministry of Science Katarzyna Zawada.

The first film was starred by Prof. Tadeusz Frymus from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

-There are no threats of contamination from dogs and cats; they cannot infect people with coronavirus. Prof. Tadeusz Frymus reminded that a few weeks ago there was information about a Hong Kong dog that was about to be infected. However, it turned out – as the scientist explains – that “the dog received the virus, probably from the coughing owner and for some time it stayed in its mucous membranes, but then disappeared, because the virus was not able to multiply in the dog.”
