The next Science Populariser competition, which rewards individuals, teams and institutions that explain science and help us better understand the world, has been launched. The call for entries will end on 18 September. The winners will be selected in December 2022.

The organiser states that the aim of the Populariser of Science competition will honour individuals, teams and institutional entities that popularise science among Poles, help others to get to know and better understand phenomena occurring around people, bring the latest results of scientific research closer, share knowledge and passion for science. The competition evaluates popularisation activities addressed to people who are not professionally connected with the popularised area of knowledge.

The competition has been organised since 2005 by the Science in Poland website, published by the Polish Press Agency Foundation with funds from the Science for Society programme of the Ministry of Education and Science.
