On December 6, the Institute of the History of Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) is organizing the conference “Religious education and its impact on the socio-cultural life of the state and the regions in the 20th century”.
The aim of the conference is to draw attention to the history and contribution of confessional education of various religions to the education and socio-cultural life of selected countries and regions in the 20th century.
Conference organizers will focus on approaching the problem both in macro- and micro-scale: general sketches, history of selected educational institutions and schools, characteristics of educational environments, managerial and teaching staff, teaching and upbringing programs, description of organizations supporting the functioning of denominational education institutions of individual churches and associations religious organizations.
PAN informs, that the end result of the undertaking will be a scientific publication in the form of a collective work.
