Literary researchers from the University of Bialystok and Janka Kupala Grodno University from Belarus organized the International Scientific Conference “Problems of literature anthropology”.
For three days, from September 21 to 23, the event was held in Grodno, and for following two days (September 24-25) the scientists moved to Białystok. The topic of the Białystok conference was “Literary work in the cultural space”.
Conference participants listened to dozens of presentations, including: “Between the word and the image – literature on television” by Dr Alicja Kisielewska, Prof. University of Bialystok, “Drama text in the theater” by Dr. Jadwiga Gracla from the University of Warsaw, “Anthropological aspect of Lidia Zinovieva’s Annibal” Dr Agnieszka Gozdek from the Maria Curie Skłodowska University in Lublin and “Space in contemporary Belarusian literature” by Katarzyna Drozd from the University of Warsaw.
