Doctor Bartosz Rydliński from the Institute of Political Sciences and Administration of the Cardinal Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw will soon begin the implementation of the project “The role of think tanks during the presidential primaries of the Democratic Party in 2020.”  

Dr Rydliński was the laureate of the Miniature 5 competition of the National Science Center. As a result, he obtained PLN 35,000 for his research to cover a research trip to the United States.

The main goal of the project is to analyze the institutional connection of progressive American think tanks with the Democratic Party and their impact on the creation of the electoral program of the two main candidates running in the presidential primaries of this formation in 2020, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, – explains Dr Rydliński.

The research will be conducted in Washington. It will be largely based on interviews with representatives of the most famous think tanks of the American left-wing political environment.
