Scientist from the University of Gdańsk to study biodynamic agriculture in Poland

Dr Monika Rzeczycka, the Faculty of Philology of the University of Gdańsk, will lead scientists, who are carrying out the project “Biodynamics in Poland (1924-2024). Western esoteric philosophy as an impulse of modernity. Transdisciplinary Research on the History of Ideas”. The project received funding from the Gdańsk Humanities Support Program.

The research of interdisciplinary scientists from Poland, Australia and Switzerland selected in the grant competition will concern the birth, development and transformation of ​​biodynamic agriculture in Poland, as well as its implementation in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.

– This project is the next stage of transdisciplinary research on esotericism in Poland in the pre- and post-war period, and above all on the birth, dynamics and transformation of ideas promoted by the leaders of esoteric communities as alternative proposals for the development of the civilization of the future – says Dr Monika Rzeczycka.
