Rev. Prof. Piotr Nawrot from the Faculty of Theology at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań has been selected as a Star of Public Diplomacy as part of the prestigious ‘Stars of Internationalisation’ Environmental Award. The award is given by a chapter consisting of representatives of Polish institutions and organisations involved in the development of internationalisation.
The Public Diplomacy Star is an award for those active in the field of public diplomacy, promoting high standards of international academic and scientific contacts.
Rev. Prof. Piotr Nawrot, SVD has been a theologian and musicologist since 1995 as Director of Music at the Cathedral Church of La Paz (Bolivia). He received the award for his academic, musical and public activities in Bolivia and other Latin American countries. Father Nawrot has given numerous lectures in South and North America and in many European countries, contributing to the popularisation of our country, its science and culture.
