Dr Marcin Pszczoła from the Department of Genetics and Fundamentals of Animal Breeding of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences of the Poznań University of Life Sciences received the ‘Wageningen Academic Publisher Award’ for the best performance of a young scientist.

The young scientist was awarded for the lecture “Verifying the existence of second litter syndrome in pigs” delivered at the session “Innovative approaches to pig production and pig research” during the jubilee 70th Congress of the European Federation of Animal Science (70th Annual Meeting of the European Federation of Animal Science EAAP 2019) in Belgian Ghent.
