The 9th International Conference of the Polish Society of Experimental Plant Biology will last until September 12 at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. The event is co-organized by the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection at the University of Toruń.

The conference topics will cover many aspects of experimental basic research in plants – generative reproduction, genomics, proteomics and metabolomics, biotic and abiotic interactions as well as biotechnology and plant tissue culture issues.

The purpose of the meeting is to present the latest research achievements of its participants and to create a platform for direct contact of Polish scientists including students, PhD students and young researchers with outstanding foreign scientists. The event also serves the international promotion of Poland, in particular the Toruń plant biologists and the university, the city and the region.
