Scientists from around the world participate in the 4th Polish Congress of Mechanics in Krakow

Over 500 world-famous specialists dealing with the mechanics and physics take part in the 4th Polish Congress of Mechanics, which takes place in Krakow on September 8-12, 2019.

The event is linked to the 23rd International Conference on Computer Methods in Mechanics. The main organizers of the events are the Krakow University of Technology, AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków and the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
The aim of the Congress is to present the current state of research in the discipline of Mechanical Engineering, as well as to analyze the relationship between the technical sciences and the economy. The organizers emphasize, that the event promotes the internationalization of Polish science by creating a platform for participants from different countries to be helped in establishing contacts and discussing important scientific problems.

The event is attended by over 500 scientists from around the world, including: Prof. Leszek Demkowicz (University of Texas at Austin, USA), Prof. Fionn Dunne (Imperial College London, Great Britain), Prof. Shaker Meguid (University of Toronto, Canada), Prof. Franz G. Rammerstorfer (Technical University of Vienna, Austria), Prof. Jerzy Pamin (Krakow University of Technology).
