Scientists from the Medical University of Bialystok patent a pharmaceutical kit

Researchers from the Medical University of Bialystok have patented a pharmaceutical kit that can be used in the treatment of colorectal cancer and other cancers.

According to the Puls Medycyna portal, the invention “Erythropoietin and the Bruton’s kinasis inhibitor in the form of 2-cyano-N- (2,5-dibromophenyl) -3-hydroxy-2-butenamidide” as a medicine and its use in the the cancer treatment drug “has been developed by Białystok scientists: Prof. Dariusz Pawlak – head of the Department of Pharmacodynamics, Prof. Krystyna Pawlak – head of the Monitoring Pharmacotherapy Unit, Dr Anna Tankiewicz-Kwedlo, Dr Justyna Hermanowicz, Tomasz Kamiński and Dariusz Rożkiewicz.

This is not the first patent of scientists from Bialystok. Previously, they obtained patent for a complementary feed for bees and verification of anticancer properties of pine root extract.
