The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has published a list of scholarship holders in the next edition of the Mieczysław Bekker Programme. Funding will be awarded to two researchers at the Poznań University of Technology’s Faculty of Chemical Technology from among 401 submitted applications.

Prof. Łukasz Chrzanowski will spend three months at Charles University in the Czech Republic. The title of the planned research is ‘Relationships between aged micro/nanoplastics, microorganisms and degradation processes of model xenobiotics in soil and water’.

During his six-month stay at the University of California San Diego (USA), Dr Eng. Artur Jędrzak will carry out the project ‘Bioelectronic wearable, wearable sensors for health monitoring’.

Thanks to the Bekker NAWA programme, trips lasting from 3 to 24 months will allow researchers to stay in recognised research centres, establish long-term cooperation with them and carry out projects together with outstanding scientists.
