Six employees of the University of Gdańsk will implement their scientific projects thanks to funding from the Miniatura competition.
The winners of the National Science Center competition are:
• Dr Magdalena Płotka for the project “Analysis of the structure and function of synthetic peptides constituting N-terminal regions of lytic proteins with particular emphasis on the new antibacterial peptide Intestinalin”;
• Dr Łukasz Pietruszyński for “Scientific internship in the field of groundwater flow modeling in peat bogs”;
• Dr Agnieszka Szmelter-Jarosz for the project “Patterns of mobility of Baby Boomers, X, Y and Z generations in Poland”;
• Dr Łukasz Marek Sobolewski for “Determination of Lande coefficients of Niobium atomic levels”;
• Dr Krzysztof Stasiak for “Effectiveness of executing the penalty of restriction of liberty and socially useful work”;
• Dr Hanna Wolska from the Faculty of Law and Administration for “Implementation of public tasks in the sphere of geology and hydrogeology by Polish and Scandinavian institutions”.
