The National Center for Research and Development announced the results of the tenth “Leader” program. Most grants and the largest funding for projects were awarded to scientists from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
The “Leader” program serves to stimulate the cooperation of scientists and entrepreneurs by carrying out research with implementation and commercialization potential, and encourages cross-sectoral, inter-university and inter-institutional mobility.
The Wrocław University of Science and Technology obtained the most winners in this year’s program . In total, they received a record PLN 10 million for their research. Thanks to the funding, they can realize projects: “eMotion – a computer system for supporting training and rehabilitation using motion tracking technology and virtual reality” by Dr Eng. Magdalena Żuk and “Ultramizer – a system for producing powder materials using ultrasonic atomization” by Dr Eng. Paweł Sokołowski.
