Only until September 17, 2019, young scientists can apply for the International Emerging Action (IEA) competition. This is an initiative of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) – a partner of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).

The goal of the IEA program is to support new partnerships (with the participation of young scientists) and develop new areas of scientific cooperation. No previous scientific contacts or joint publications are required to submit applications.

The projects will be evaluated by CNRS and PAN experts. The following criteria will be evaluated: scientific quality of the project (weight of expected scientific effects); scientific quality and complementarity of teams; participation of young scientists.
The results of the application process will be announced in December 2019.
