Two publications by scientists of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, edited by Dr Anna Czyż and Dr Bartłomiej Gutowski won the awards of the Academic and Scientific Book Fair.

The Rector of the University of Warsaw Award for the Best Academic Publication in the Field of Social Sciences and Humanities was awarded to the book “Rasos Cemetery in Vilnius – History, Art, Nature”.

The book is based on documentation work carried out in 2013-2016 by the Institute of Art History of UKSW in Warsaw in cooperation with the Lithuanian University of Education.

The book “Manual for the inventory of Polish cemeteries and tombstones abroad” was awarded for the Academic Publication in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The publication contains systematized knowledge in art history and materials science. It also presents tools useful in inventory and documentation works in cemeteries.
