An international industrial-scientific consortium with the participation of researchers from the Faculty of Mechatronics at Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz will realise the project “Effective Technology for Flow Parameters Adjustment of Axial Fans”.

The aim of the project is to develop new design solutions and control methods for industrial axial fans, improving their efficiency. This will reduce the energy requirements of such devices. The consortium comprises Elmine, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology and Kazimierz Wielki University (Bydgoszcz, Poland), as well as Slovakia’s University of Zilina and ANAJ Slovakia.

As part of the project, an axial fan demonstrator will be developed and subjected to verification studies. An environmental Life Cycle Assessment is also foreseen, as well as material tests of the finished blade and steering wheel and field tests.
